Title Nine Power Full-Zip Hoody
When the sun goes down, it gets chilly here in the Northwest, even on warm days. It’s been a treat to test Title Nine’s ultra cozy Power Full-Zip Hoody.
This lovely little hoody feels so soft on my skin, thanks to an incredible 60% cotton/40% poly fabric that has the look and feel of a midweight cotton knit. It’s heavier than a cotton T-shirt but much lighter and more attractive than a sweatshirt. I like the semi-fitted style, too, because it looks tidy and trim on me so I can wear it with skirts and shorts when the sun goes down. It may sound silly, but I also feel more fit and nimble when I wear this hoody because it conforms so well to my body. I’m never wearing frumpy sweatshirts again!
Since most of my clothes are solid colors, and mostly grey or back, it’s a nice change to have a garment with a bold, intricate print. The Power Full-Zip Hoody comes in several colors; I tested a white and black hoody with lime green contrast stitching and hood lining. I tend to dress very casually, but have worn the hoody with a black T-shirt and skirt (or jeans) to several dinner parties this summer and have received several compliments every time! One woman saw my hoody and wanted to get one to wear to work on casual Fridays.
I love the raglan-style sleeves on the Power Full-Zip Hoody; they provide a custom fit around my shoulders and make this top easy to layer under a rain jacket. I think Title Nine did a great job on the details of this hoody, too. The sleeves and hem of the jacket are nicely finished in seamless black bands. The thumb loops and hood come in very handy when I get chilly. I also like the small zippered pocket on the left sleeve; it’s just big enough for a cell phone or, in my case, a lip balm, my car key, and I.D.
The thing about this adorable little hoody is – I’d wear it even if it wasn’t cute because the material is so lusciously soft. It just feels great to wear. The only things I would change are the length (I’m 6’ and would love a longer cut, although this fit me fine) and the pocket situation. There is a slim, flat pocket on the inside of the hoody, but I’m always trying to put my hands into the non-existent side pockets. The hoody is nice and sleek without pockets, but I’m used to having a place to stash my keys.
Available in Aloe/Turkish Coffee; Black/Cloud Dancer; Blue Spruce/Nile; Clouddancer/Teaberry in women’s sizes XS-XL. I tested a size L, my usual size, and found a nice fit.
Bottom Line: A fun, comfy, every-day hoody that’s great for casual wear, as post-workout coverup, and for everything in between.
