Eton Solarlink : Be Prepared
How cool is this: a solar-powered flashlight, radio, cellphone charger, and alarm clock-all in one....more.

Princeton Tec Pilot Light : Sometimes, It's the Little Things

I've found in life that you prefer just a little bit, it can sometimes really pay off when you need it.

One of the things I've started doing is carrying some type of flashlight with me at all times. I prefer tiny and lightweight lights so I can attach it to my day pack or toss it in my jacket pocket. Princeton Tec's Pilot L.E.D. light is exactly the type of gadget accessory I like to have.

It weighs almost nothing, it attaches easily to headlamp headbands and pack straps, and it has two function modes, a straight beam and a flashing light. The Pilot isn't a light to guide me in the dark, but to let drivers see me in the dark. Whether out exercisinsg after dark or walking to the shops at night, my little Pilot light makes me more visible---as PT says, "Just in Case."

Bottom LIne: Ideal for cyclists, kayakers, and anyone else to needs to be more visible during dusk and in the dark.--E.D. (Oct 09)
