Built Neoprene Messenger Bag for iPad

I tend to overstuff my bags and backpacks, so I love it when a bag helps me keep it simple.  Built’s Neoprene Messenger Bag for the iPad is exactly what I need for traveling light.

As its name suggests, the Neoprene Messenger Bag is made out of neoprene, which provides a thin, dense cushioned layer between my iPad and the rest of the world!  My iPad slides right into the flat pouch, and the top flap sticks to the bag with a secure Velcro-like tab.  There’s a small port on the top of the bag for my earbuds cord, so I can listen to my iTunes while in transit.

Built’s Neoprene Messenger Bag also has a small flat pocket with a divider separating it into two sleeves on the front of the bag. I use this for storing my stylus and a cleansing cloth, and for stashing my earbugs when not in use.  There’s also a deep, flat pocket on the back of the bag that’s ideal for my i.d. and boarding pass.

The Neoprene Messenger Bag has a adjustable strap that allows me to wear the bag over my shoulder or over my body, messenger-style.  The back of the pack has a handle, which is nice for grabbing the bag when I have it packed in my carry-on bag or tote.

Finally, I like the subtle grid print on the black material, as well as the contrast royal blue color on the inside of the bag (I like it when bags are lined with a contrasting color; it makes it easier to find things).

Built makes the Neoprene Messenger Bag for iPad in four color patterns and in a variety of laptop and MacBook sizes.

Bottom Line: A keep-it-simple bag for protecting and transporting your iPad in style.—E.D. (Oct 2011)
